Static home page is not working

    Hello hash team,
    First, thank you for great job. 🙂

    I set the “Home Page” template for my home page but the content is not displayed on my front page. I set this home page as a static page in Reading settings as well.
    I followed instructions on https://hashthemes.com/support/topic/unable-to-display-square-features-after-setting-static-page/

    If I click on view page source I can see text of home page which should be visible, but it’s not.

    Now you have to go to Appearance -> Customizer in the dashboard menu and configure the setting for the home page.

    This is my settings, or did you mean anything else?

    Hi,

    Yes, this setting is correct. And i can see the slider appearing in the home page. To configure the other section you need to go back for Static Front Page display and play with other settings.

    Hi,
    Yes, slider is appearing in Home Page. But text of Home Page is not present on front page.

    Have you entered Settings -> Reading?

    @matthewSK if you want the text of the page to appear in the home page then change the template of the page to default.

    Or you will have to go to Appearance -> Customizer to set up the home page content.

    @HashThemes, if I change template to default then slider disappears.
    In which file should I make changes to make this text visible?

    Yes, the slider will disappear if you choose the default template. So there is no way adding the slider with the default template selected.
