What’s changed / new please?
Do you provide a summary anywhere?
psolParticipantFantastic – it worked, thanks very much.
For some reason when loading the page on my smartphone device, the default zoom is more than 400% and only the site logo is visible – this is only an issue on my website. Pinching the screen to zoom out obviously solves that problem but only when you scroll down below the slider (because you can’t pinch the slider).
Is there a way to set the default zoom so that the whole homepage appears in view (i.e. full zoom out view) and then you can zoom in from there?
psolParticipantSorry, I don’t know what “the CSS for responsive in mobile device” means – is there a particular php file that I should edit?
Thanks
psolParticipantThat worked, thanks.
For some reason though it also extends the bottom of the about us page, can I stop it from doing that with further code?
psolParticipantIs it possible to simply have a desktop version of the site only? I don’t want a smartphone version either. Thanks.
psolParticipantNot to worry, I worked around the problem by creating excerpt summaries. Thanks for your help.
psolParticipantYes, I can see that that’s the case in your demo but that’s not how it is on my website – I’m not sure why.
I have some additional CSS relating to the header and top menus (and of course relating to the + sign per your post above) but even when I get rid of the code it doesn’t bring back the “…” on the featured pages so I don’t think the additional code is the reason.
psolParticipantThat’s great, thank you.
What about this – is it possible to ensure that when the text on the featured page runs out it is followed by “…” so it doesn’t just show an incomplete word?
