Hi,
I manually updated the Total theme to version 1.1.5. Everything is ok but the home page. It is brand new.
Obviously I could re-enter all the customization one by one, but I think that it is possible to copy some files to transfer the content.
Could you please give me a hint? Thanks.
January 11, 2017 at 10:37 pm #1625HashKeymastersorry, i did not understand your problem.
January 13, 2017 at 3:23 pm #1631robyfellParticipantSorry for my English.
I updated Total theme from 1.1.2 to 1.1.5. I copied the theme to a different folder, then I activated the new version.
All the changes I made to the home page of the older version (slider, about us, featured and so on) weren’t there, so I re-entered them one by one by choosing pages and images that I had previously created.
My question was: when I install an update of the theme, there is a way to have the same content appearing on the home page without re-entering the data in every section?I hope this makes sense. Thanks again.

The customizer panel setting does not get lost when updating the theme. It only happens if you change the theme name.
January 16, 2017 at 7:15 pm #1661chrisElkinParticipantHi – I’ve just updated my them to 1.1.6 and I now cant see my customised home page.
All the Home section settings appear to be stored but not displaying.
Sounds like the same issue as robyfell describes earlier in this thread.Do i need to manually add the home section settings?
January 16, 2017 at 7:28 pm #1662RurmeerParticipantSimilar problem after updating to 1.1.6. Home page showed table of events from plugin The Events Calendar. Running back to 1.1.5.

January 17, 2017 at 10:44 am #1670QongParticipantMake sure you guys change the Template of the page that the theme is using as its Static Front Page to your “Home Page” Template. Do that and your site will be back to normal.
Step by step instructions:
Go to Appearance -> Customize
In the Customize menu go to General Settings -> Static Front Page
Choose a page for the “Front Page” option
Save -> Close the Customize menu
Go to Pages -> Choose the page that you made the “Front Page” above
Change the TemplateJanuary 17, 2017 at 11:13 pm #1679HashKeymasterHi,

January 19, 2017 at 7:30 pm #1689HashKeymasterHi,
The Theme update does not make any content to disappear.
You can check by reverting back the theme to previous version using Rollback plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-rollback/
