Hi – firstly, I really love your theme! I had been looking for something like this for a looooong time. Now, the super challenging issue I’m running into…
I’m trying to create a multilingual website for my non-profit institute and I want to provide my users the option to toggle between two languages directly from the top menu. I’ve successfully been able to create that 🙂 …
- BUT
I want the 2nd language to have it’s own, fully non-English home page. This includes it’s own title and tagline, logo, slider and accompanying text, tab section title, client section title, and footer.
As far as the content goes, my 2nd language pages are pulling correctly because of the way multiple pages are created for each language through Polylang.
FYI my website can be accessed here:

The cutomizer field are not translatable using polylang plugin. To translate these text, it requires additional coding which we may consider in our future updates.
Thanks

I really like your total theme, but ran into the same issue as the users above. As there was no solution in the thread I looked at it and found a very simple way to fix it:
You need to create a file called wpm-config.xml in the theme root directory and add the following content:
<wpml-config>
<admin-texts>
<key name=’theme_mods_total’>
<key name=’total_featured_sub_title’ />
<key name=’total_about_progressbar_title1′ />
</key>
</admin-texts>
</wpml-config>This is only a sample file that makes 2 customizr keys translatable. The file should contain a full list of keys used in customizr. (I am sure you guys have this).
Once this file is in the directory you can set the values in the customizer and the string will appear for translation in the polylang string translations section and the translation works.
Would be great if you guys could complete list of keys in the file and add it to the theme.
Cheers

I am using the slider, about us, features and blog. What would it cost to have someone give me the code to get my home page in spanish.

I reached out to support last week prior to purchasing the Total Plus version of the theme and they told me this would be possible. This is the main reason I advised we purchased the Plus version of the Total theme.

Yes, it is possible with the premium version. The premium version is fully translatable.
Thanks
